Nordik Folk Members Lynda & Herb Smith and Tim & Linnea Ogrentz traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana in early June to help SVEA Lodge No. 253 celebrate their 100th Anniversary. It was a lovely event! We started out helping to decorate the Maypole, and participating in the Grand March around the grounds led by Dans Norden Director, John Seest. Afterwards, a tasty Smörgåsbord was served. Also enjoyed were raffles, live music by accordionists Scandilocity, dancing with Dans Norden, and games for children including a Pipi Longstocking pinata.
